The Drudge Report is reporting that former West Wing Regime Leader Aaron Sorkin is chairing a campaign event for Democratic Presidential Hopeful Dick Gephart.
And that's supposed to surprise us? SORKIN HAS BEEN CHAIRING A DNC EVENT FOR 4 YEARS, only now he's doing it in the open.
This week on THE LEFT ... er ... WEST WING

TV GUIDE GOES INSIDE THE WESTWING MELTDOWN
"Describes Sorkin's exit as a Shocking Truth"
This week's edition of TV Guide (the one with future California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on the cover) goes behind the scenes of writer-producer-creator-and Uber Liberal and Conservative Bigot Aaron Sorkin's abrupt exit from THE WEST WING.
In this "shocking truth" expose, TV Guide talks about Sorkin's obsessive control freak nature which required him to write all but one of the series' episodes over the past 4 years.
It also talks about Sorkin hitting "the wall" in efforts to meet the Network's demands for a more balanced presentation to stem the ratings decline - which is largely due to Sorkin's alienation of an audience base turning increasingly conservative in recent years.
With battles being fought with the network, Sorkin turning in scripts at the VERY last minute - or missing deadlines completely prompting production shutdowns for a few days - a budget for each episode ballooning out of control - Warner Brothers was being driven absolutely crazy ... after all, they were paying the bills.
In the end, Sorkin bailed out. My guess is, he saw the handwritting on the wall and quit before he was asked to leave.
TV Guide mentions in the article that the cast was STUNNED. Bradley Whitford referred to the news as an "emotional holocaust."
WHAT KIND OF OUT OF TOUCH LIBERAL IDIOT COMPARES THE RESIGNATION OF A TV PRODUCER TO THE SYSTEMATIC MURDER OF 6 MILLIONS JEWS?! Is it any wonder why this show - which is so rich in character - has lost so much of it's audience?
Producer/Director Thomas Schlamme also splits. So expect members of the cast to start deserting the sinking ship faster than Bruce Ismay could get off the Titanic.

Creator of 'Mr. Sterling' Admits: We TV Writers Are '99% Leftist'
NewsMax.com
Last Sunday, on CNN's "Reliable Sources," there was a fascinating exchange between host Howard Kurtz and Lawrence O'Donnell, creator of NBC's Democrat fantasy series "Mr. Sterling" (starring Barbra Streisand's stepson Josh Brolin, and not to be confused with NBC's Democrat fantasy series "The West Wing"). Here's very TELLING exerpt:
KURTZ: One thing these programs have in common, conservatives are practically invisible. President Bartlett is a Democrat. Martin Sheen, in fact, made anti-war ads before the invasion of Iraq. "Mr. Sterling" is a California liberal based loosely on Jerry Brown. Why aren't there any Republicans?
O'DONNELL: You will never get that TV show. You'll never, ever get the Republican TV show. The Writers Guild of America, my union, is at a minimum, 99 percent leftist liberal and, like me, socialist. And we don't know how to write it. We don't.
KURTZ: I guess we won't be seeing a Karl Rove drama anytime soon. These shows are important, because they help shape the public image of politicians and show the characters wrestling with real issues, but not too real, it turns out, not if you want really big ratings.
*******
TLW - WELL ... DUH! Millions of Americans vote Republican and this Rube can't be bothered to go after that audience.
